About The Irish Club
The Irish Club was officially opened by Brian Muldoon the Irish Ambassador to South Africa on the 2 November 2002. Over the years the club has grown and has become well known for its success in having hosted a Fleadh Cheoil as well as numerous Saint Patricks Day celebrations.
Currently the Linden Irish Club is on a membership drive whereby all clients of the club are requested to complete a social membership form indicating there commitment to upholding the rules of the club. Copies of this membership form as well as the rules of the club can be found attached below. We request for you to please complete the form, signing each page and submitting it to Mick.
a club we have toured various breweries, watched numerous international bands perform, competed in various golf competitions and gone to various sporting and cultural events. We have even held international tours to Ireland and the Rugby World Cup.

Every trimester we host a Potjiekos Competition where fun is had by the whole family. This event is one of our many community service events. All the proceeds generated on this day from the sale of the various potjies are donated to a local charity voted for by the Irish Club Committee.

To date various local organisations and charities have benefited from this worthy cause. These charities to name a few include the MOTHS, Gem Homes and Casa Da Sol School (Linden).

Throughout the week various events happen at the club.

Every Wednesday a quiz evening is held starting at 19h30.

On Saturdays and Sundays we try to show as many sporting events as possible. Note that the main sporting attraction of the day will be shown on the main screen in the bar. Note that international matches take priority over club matches.

Furthermore each Sunday morning we host a car boot sale weather permitting.
